Our insight community, tombola player panel, has received a 2023 Alida Delta Award
We are pleased to announce that the Research team at tombola have been recognised for their industry-leading innovation in insights. The Strategy and Insight team was created to transition the business from intuition-led to insight-led decision making by launching a customer insight community (tombola player panel).
As Britain’s biggest bingo brand, we’ve worked on finding additional ways to engage with our players to help increase customer loyalty and brand awareness. The research team wanted to better understand how to evolve offerings based on the expectations of our loyal players.
Through the community, tombola’s research team has conducted a variety of activities to engage with players on a more personal level. These activities support multiple business units and decision-makers within tombola, including executives, product, marketing, and customer service.
This includes the following:
- Ask the Expert series - utilising Alida’s member hub feature, tombola launched a creative way to connect business leaders directly with the players in their panel.
- Campaign testing and development - insights also supported the marketing team by gathering feedback on advertising messaging and creatives.
- App beta testing – players tested our beta app and provided feedback on our new game categorisation feature.
